Due to distressing developments around the world, having to do with what is called the Corona Virus, the decision has been made to postpone the ISS 2020 Meeting, scheduled for April 16-18, in Toronto. This decision was made after considering the most recent developments and after consulting with our partners in Toronto.

Know that we want very much—perhaps, now even more than before–to proceed with the meeting, with consideration of the phenomenon of the “crisis” itself as part of our thinking and conversations. The commitment to keep ISS going as model of compelling conversation and programmatic work remains strong. So we are hoping to make arrangements with friends and colleagues in Toronto to convene the meeting in Toronto in early fall 2020 (September-October). So please keep this period of time in mind. No details about arrangements are available at this time. I shall share them with you as soon as possible–possibly, in the next few days.
Thanks very much for your patience and continuing support.
